Welcome to the Employment Connection Centre
The Employment Connection Centre is a sponsored program of the Labrador West Young People’s Association which provides employment counselling services to unemployed and underemployed individuals in Labrador City and Wabush. We are funded by the Government of Canada under the Employment Insurance account in Partnership with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador through the Canadian Newfoundlandand Labrador Labour Market Agreement. Most clients who access our services will be case managed by one of our counsellors from the time they have their initial assessment meeting until they find sustainable employment.
