<p>Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, the Supervisor, Coach will be responsible to ensuring consistency within teams in demonstrating the Rio Tinto core leadership competencies. The Supervisor, Coach will following and implement sound maintenance processes to achieve target production and cost targets for mining operations.</p>

<p>The Supervisor, Coach will be accountable for but not limited to the following:</p>

<p>•Provide effective leadership by setting clear expectations, providing feedback, coaching and development, and establishing an effective team process.</p>
<p>•Responsible for developing individual supervisor training plans for the purpose of upgrading leadership skills, technical knowledge, HSE understanding of procedures and regulations and IOC maintenance processes.</p>
<p>•Recommend and assist with establishing strategies and processes for optimizing planning and execution of operational and/or maintenance plans.</p>
<p>•Develop and maintain effective working relationships to ensure communication and alignment of maintenance and/or operational activities throughout the value chain.</p>
<p>•Coach and assist supervisors in delivering effective toolbox meetings, HSE meetings and safety interactions.</p>
<p>•Coach and assist with completion of incident investigation and action completion.</p>
<p>•Coach and mentor supervisors to promote, generate and capture continuous improvement ideas and suggestions to improve HSE, quality, productivity and improved work practices.</p>
<p>•Coach and mentor supervisors to utilize business improvement techniques such as LEAN and IPT to improve area performance</p>

<p>As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for controlling quality standards and reporting performance; maintaining equipment histories; and participating in the review of all maintenance routines with a view to increasing equipment availability, reducing maintenance costs and ensuring a safe work environment. The Maintenance Planner is accountable for the efficient planning, estimating and scheduling of all maintenance work</p>

<p>In view of the preceding, the Maintenance Planner, will be responsible but not limited to the following;</p>
<p>•Identifies, prioritizes, plans and schedules maintenance services, repairs and inspections.</p>
<p>•Orders all materials for planned jobs and coordinates timely delivery and manages contracts for outsourced services.</p>
<p>•Prepares detailed job packages, bills of material, and updates relevant technical drawings and documents.</p>
<p>•Incorporates ESH considerations into planned jobs (risk assessments, isolation procedures and permits, etc.)</p>
<p>•Ensures that unplanned failures are addressed in an effort to make them controllable. Supports the development and use of systems to identify failures and cost drivers such that they can be addressed and continuously improved.</p>
<p>•Assists in development of budgets and in projecting long-range maintenance budget needs.</p>
<p>•Collaborates with internal customers for equipment to be made available in order to complete scheduled work.</p>
<p>•Updates maintenance information systems with accurate service and repair history and identifies reasons for unscheduled downtime.</p>

<p>We are seeking a highly motivated, high performing, dynamic Process/Chemical Engineer Graduate to participate in our Graduate Development Program in Labrador City. The Graduate Development program is designed to provide IOC with strong entry-level professional employees and to provide new graduates with the opportunity to expand on their current industry knowledge and capabilities. The graduates we hire will spend time in the Graduate Development Program, where they will be exposed to a number of different work experiences covering the many facets of IOC&#8217;s business.</p>

<p>Chemical/Process engineers manage the process of turning raw materials into marketable end-products.</p>

<p>Reporting to the Superintendent Load &amp; Haul, the Supervisor Load &amp; Haul is responsible for the day-to-day organization and direction of all production and development activities of a designated shift in order to meet or exceed production goals in a safe, cost effective and environmentally sound manner.</p>

<p>The primary accountabilities of this role include:</p>
<p>•Ensuring personnel, equipment and work areas are in compliance with all safety policies and regulations by providing required training, tools and monitoring.</p>
<p>•Liaising with mine dispatcher and technical services personnel to optimize material movement and conform to mine plan.</p>
<p>•Providing clear work objectives and expectations of the performance levels required to achieve safety and production targets and minimize and identify and eliminate situations that could cause equipment damage or excessive wear.</p>
<p>•Maximizing crew and employee performance and safety through training and matching of employee experience to daily equipment allocation and priorities.</p>
<p>•Providing consistency between shifts through timely setup of pit infrastructure and by informing the oncoming shift of pertinent operating conditions.</p>
<p>•Developing and promoting a positive employee relations environment within the operations crew and across shifts.</p>
<p>•Assisting in accident and incident investigations and ensure that recommendations are promptly implemented.</p>
<p>•Liaising with maintenance department to maximize reliability of equipment.</p>
<p>The position is based in Labrador City and relocation is required.</p>

<p>The successful applicants will hold the following qualifications:</p>
<p>•Engineering degree (desirable) or minimum of High School with mining experience</p>
<p>•3-5 years experience in a mining environment (desirable)</p>
<p>•Previous supervisory experience is desirable</p>
<p>•Computer literacy</p>
<p>•Valid driver&#8217;s license</p>
<p>•Leadership training</p>

<p>Labrador West Child Care Inc. is currently recruiting staff to work in our full-time licensed Building Blocks Childcare Centre. We offer competitive salary and benefits.</p>
<p>The following positions are available:</p>
<p>1. Four (4) Homeroom (Lead) Staff &#8211; Required to have earned a minimum of Level I Early Childhood Education and 1 year work experience or equivalent.</p>
<p>2. Four (4) Support (Assistant) Staff &#8211; Required to have earned a minimum of entry level certification through AECENL with a demonstrated willingness to upgrade.</p>
<p>3. Three (3) Casual (Call-in) Staff &#8211; Required to have earned a minimum of entry level certification through AECENL with a demonstrated willingness to upgrade.</p>
<p>Staff will be responsible for the daily care of children, program planning and implementation, parent relations, serving meals, maintaining the facility in a clean, safe and tidy manner and maintaining ECE certification requirements.</p>
<p>4. One (1) Domestic (House Mom) Staff &#8211; Responsible for food preparation, cleaning, groceries, planning and implementing healthy snacks and meals that follow Canada’s Food Guide.</p>
