We provide client-centered counselling to identify what type of support each client requires to help them achieve their employment goal. This is accomplished through an assessment process that will vary for each client and is centered on the need and ability of each individual.
We regularly facilitate employment strategies workshops on topics such as resume writing, interview skills and job search strategies. We also partner with other community members to offer information workshops relevant to employment.
Our office is equipped with three client computers with internet access, a photocopier and fax machine that are available free of charge for clients to use for employment reasons.
Our resource library is stocked with brochures and other publications that can help you with your employment search, finding information on post-secondary funding, career decision making and other employment related information. We are constantly adding new items to our resource library so come check it out.
Through our contact with other community groups, we often make referrals for clients who may require other services.
